Day of public service in Ukraine
Every year on June 23, Ukraine celebrates a professional holiday – Public Service Day. The event was launched by President Leonid Kuchma on April 4, 2003. The date of the celebration coincides with the United Nations Civil Service Day.
The purpose of the Day of Public Service in Ukraine
Public Service Day aims to draw the attention of Ukrainian society to the significant contribution of the civil service to the development of Ukraine, to thank the state authorities for their conscientious work for the development of our country.
How is the Day of Public Service celebrated in Ukraine?
On June 23, the authorities of Ukraine officially congratulate civil servants with diplomas, awards, gifts, etc. The “Best Civil Servant” competition is also traditionally held.
