Every year on the fourth Thursday of April, the world celebrates International Day of Girls in Information and Communication Technologies (International Girls in ICT Day). In 2022, the date of the celebration falls on April 28.

According to research results, in many cases it is gender stereotypes that stop girls from choosing technical specialties: they lack self-confidence and their own abilities.

The purpose of the holiday is to expand women’s rights, attract girls to study and work in the field of information and communication technologies, and destroy myths related to gender.

To International Day of Girls in Information and Communication Technologies organize marathons where women, professionals in this field, share their experience and advice with the young female generation.
