World Pilots Day
World Pilots Day (World Pilots Day) is celebrated on April 26. This holiday was celebrated for the first time in 2014 and is celebrated every year from now on.
First Pilots’ Day was an “internal” holiday of the Turkish Airlines Pilots Association. This holiday is dedicated to the first flight in the sky in Turkey. In 1912, on April 26, Fesa Evrensev – the best student of the stream, the future head of Turkish Airlines, passed the exam with flying colors and took the plane into the sky as the first pilot of his homeland.
In 2014, the International Federation of Airline Pilots Associations adopted a proposed date of April 26 for the celebration Pilots’ Day Worldwide.
