World Information Day
Every year on the last Friday of November, the world celebrates Information Day. The holiday was founded by the International Academy of Informatization (a member of the UN Information Department) in 1994, and already in 1995 the academy became the Chief Consultant of the UN Social and Economic Councils.
On World Information Day, forums, conferences, and business meetings are organized to find solutions for optimizing information flow. The purpose of this day is the formation, development, coordination of the global information space. A reasonable attitude to the creation of information technologies, responsibility and respect for people contribute to the development of society.
