World Bipolar Day

World Bipolar Day, celebrated annually on March 30, was initiated by the International Community of Bipolar Disorders. The purpose of the activities is to increase the level of awareness of the population about people with bipolar spectrum disorders. Thanks to the international association, the event makes it possible to create a platform for global education on bipolar issues and open dialogue between people. Bipolar Day helps people find common ground and provides access to information that can inspire society to accept the illness.

Bipolar disorder – this is not just a sudden change in mood during the day, it is a rather serious problem that provokes imbalance and aggression in a person. This is not a quirk of character or fiction. Bipolarity is the result of malfunctions in the brain’s neurotransmitters. The disease cannot be overcome by willpower. Only experienced specialists and support from the environment will help.
