At the beginning of the XVII century. English doctor William Harvey proved the existence of blood circulation and calculated the speed of blood flow. And only from the beginning of the XIX century. cardiology is developing as an independent practical discipline.
The purpose of World Cardiologist Day
The event was started with the aim of actualizing the problem of heart diseases, increasing the public’s interest in systematic examinations for early detection of diseases.
