World Accreditation Day is a day of awareness about the effectiveness of accreditation as a means of establishing trusting relationships in the global market. The date of celebration is June 9. Accreditation Day has international significance.

The holiday was introduced at the initiative of ILAC and IAF – organizations that participate in the accreditation of testing laboratories. The worldwide association ILAC includes representatives of relevant bodies from more than 70 countries. International Accreditation Day was defined in 2007 and has been held annually since June 9, 2008.
