Newspaper columnist is one of the specialties of journalism. A columnist runs a certain column in a newspaper, where he expresses his own opinion on a certain topic (politics, culture, business, etc.). The specialist first understands and analyzes the subject of his work, and then briefly expresses it in the form of advice, a summary of recent events, trends, and so on. A newspaper columnist must have a deep knowledge of his own topic in order to carry out a qualitative analysis and convey the essence to the reader.
