Day of the inventor and rationalizer of Ukraine

In 1994, the Presidential Decree established that every third Saturday of September will be celebrated in Ukraine Day of the inventor and rationalizer. The purpose of the holiday was to support those people who introduce new technologies, find methods of combating diseases, carry out selection of plants and animals in order to improve their productivity.

On this day, in many cities of the country, exhibitions and innovation fairs, presentations, brilliant shows and other events are organized to pay tribute to inventors.

Their activities are regulated by the Ukrpatent Institute, which currently has more than 100,000 patents for inventions in various fields registered.

Among the most famous of them, we can mention:

• The latest methods of disposal of radioactive waste Adamenko.
• Design solutions for «An» aircraft.
• Treatment of varicose veins with the help of electromagnetic influence on blood vessels.
• Stimulation of plant growth by the Ponomarenko method.

Currently, more than 10,000 inventions approved in Ukrpatent are already being used in Ukraine and abroad.
