World Speech Day
Every year on March 15, the planet celebrates the young orator’s holiday – World Speech Day. The event was launched by Simon Gibson in 2015 at the Athens Democracy Forum. More than 100 countries participate in the celebration.
World Speech Day aims to attract people to public speeches, development of speech in schools, higher educational institutions, various organizations, etc. Speeches contribute to the development of society and the exchange of ideas and opinions.
Until March 15, trainings and gatherings are organized in public associations, educational institutions, companies, etc.
- In addition, from World Speech Day a section dedicated to women’s speech was separated. Female representatives have the opportunity to share success stories, dreams, and support. This contributes to overcoming gender inequality and stereotypes, expanding the opportunities of women in the world.
