World Oral Health Day

March 20 is celebrated annually World Oral Health Day. The holiday was started by the World Dental Federation in 2007 in Dubai. Initially, September 12 (the birthday of the founder of the federation – Charles Godon) was chosen as the date of celebration, but in 2013 it was changed to March 20.

the purpose Oral Health Day there is an improvement in society’s education regarding oral hygiene and the culture of care, research into the impact of dental diseases on the human body as a whole.

Dentists recommend an examination at least once a year. Hygiene, refraining from excessive consumption of sweets, maintaining the level of vitamin D, that is, quality nutrition and regular visits to a specialist, are the keys to oral health.
