Webmaster’s Day

Every year on April 4, webmasters celebrate their own professional holiday – Webmaster’s Day. The date of the celebration is chosen in honor of the 404 error that is encoded in this date. The event occurred in 2010.

A profession in general webmaster quite young – it appeared in 1992, in the same year, thanks to Timothy Berners-Lee, the term itself arose. However, the rapid development of the web industry has made specialists in this field very much in demand. Later, the profession of a webmaster branched out into narrow specialties.

Though Webmaster’s Day is still unofficial, it does not prevent us from congratulating familiar programmers, moderators, site administrators, Internet marketers, web designers and other workers in the field of work with sites and applications on April 4, as well as thanking them for their hard work.
