Precinct Police Officer’s Day
Every year on June 18, Ukraine celebrates a professional holiday – Precinct Police Officer’s Day. The event was started in 2004.
Who is a precinct officer?
District officer is a representative of the National Police at the precinct, whose duties include: countering criminal acts (including family violence), crime prevention and causal analysis, control of the storage and use of weapons, ensuring public safety of citizens, social adaptation of ex-prisoners, combating illegal migration and so on.
Purpose of Precinct Police Officer’s Day
