Morshin’s Day

It is celebrated every year on the third Sunday of June Morshin’s Day – a Ukrainian resort town located in Prykarpattia. In 2022, the date of the celebration falls on June 19.

Morshin is famous for its balneological sanatoriums (treatment with mineral waters) and health complexes that help people suffering from cardiovascular diseases, disorders of the gastrointestinal tract and other health problems.

The city was first mentioned in 1482, already then the inhabitants used mineral springs. The construction of water hospitals, reservoirs, mud hospitals and inhalators began in 1930.


Today sanatoriums Morshina known even outside of Ukraine, tourists constantly visit the healing city.
