Every year on February 28, Ukraine celebrates a state professional holiday – Day of navigational service of aviation of the Armed Forces. The event was approved in 2008 at the initiative of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine.

To be navigator is a responsible and difficult job that requires special calculation skills. The navigational service has clear tasks: monitoring the technical condition of devices, checking navigation equipment, creating a course based on maps or technical means, air control, etc.

Day of navigational service of aviation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine created in order to congratulate employees on their professional holiday and thank them for their hard work, as well as to increase the prestige of the navigator service.
