What day is it?

Ukraine celebrates February 25 every year Day of the aviation engineering service of the Armed Forces. The state professional holiday was started on March 19, 2010 at the initiative of Mykhailo Yezhel.

The Ukrainian aviation engineering service is engaged in the organization and implementation of flight technical support, i.e. compliance with a certain scheme of aviation works and air transportation. The level of performance of the crew’s necessary tasks depends on the work of this service. The activity of the aviation engineering service involves great responsibility and risk, because engineers first check all the equipment on themselves.

Day of the Aviation Engineering Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine aims to increase the prestige of the service, increase interest in the quality performance of official duties and foster a patriotic attitude among the military and the younger generation.
