Day of children’s inventions

January 17 is celebrated Day of children’s inventions. The date was chosen in honor of the birthday of the outstanding American Ben Franklin – the founder of the United States, statesman, publicist, scientist and inventor. Benjamin made his very first invention – wrist fins for swimming – when he was a 12-year-old teenager.

It seemed that Braille, a calculator, fur headphones, a paper bag with a rectangular bottom, water skis and the Alaskan flag could be combined? All these quite famous things were invented by children. Every year, about half a million children and teenagers develop games, build robots and other equipment, gadgets, modify old ones and invent new mechanisms.

Children’s inventions, like adults, make our lives more convenient and interesting, so on this day it is important to be happy for young developers, to emphasize the significance and usefulness of their inventions, to encourage aspirations and talent. Children Inventors Day is celebrated loudly, with music, contests and awards.
