Apple II Personal Computer Day

On June 5, 1977, the world saw a new version of the computer Apple II. Despite the fact that the price of the model was twice the price of the previous one, it came out on top in terms of popularity and started the computer revolution. Therefore, every year this day is celebrated not only by representatives of the Apple company, but also by supporters of the brand.

The first version Apple II was equipped with a 1 MHz processor and 4 kilobytes of RAM. The package did not include a monitor and a hard disk, so the computer had to be connected to a color TV and a cassette data storage. At the same time, the price Apple II was about 1300 dollars.

But despite all the shortcomings, the second model of the computer from Apple sold 6 million copies worldwide. Even now, it can be found and purchased at online auctions.
