World Day of the Human Spirit
World Day of the Human Spirit celebrated on February 17 every year. The human spirit is the spiritual and mental part of humanity. Christians emphasize that the human spirit is the real person, an essential part of his existence, including our intellect, emotions, fears, passions and creativity. World Human Spirit Day reminds us all of the simple ways we can come together and empower each other.
This holiday was founded in 2003 by the philosopher of truth and wisdom, as well as the author of many books, Michael Levy. It can be said that it is a celebration of the promotion of the human spirit, which lives a creative, peaceful, loving life, and which, in fact, we should always live. After all, when we allow any negativity to engulf us and do not take any action, we fall into the slavery of our false ideas, perceptions and dogmas, which do not bring either joy or happiness.
On this day, people around the world are invited to devote 2 minutes of their lives to silence. At 3:00 PM ET, all who wish will join in the meditation to reawaken the spirit of freedom and peace that lives within each of us. Silence is a simple tool that connects us all, in silence we are renewed and refreshed. It helps us feel content with life and accept the fact that we don’t have all the answers, but that can be for the best. In light of this day, we should practice a lot of kindness, gratitude, mindfulness, and self-love.
It is best to devote this day to such practices as yoga, meditation, prayer, chanting mantras. You can also spend the day alone with nature. Do whatever brings you closer to your true, sincere and pure essence. Also, you can join all the participants using the hashtag #HumanSpiritDay and share your thoughts on social networks.
