SBU Day

Every year on March 25, Ukraine celebrates a professional national holiday — Day of the Security Service of Ukraine. The event was initiated by Leonid Kuchma on March 22, 2001. The date of the celebration was chosen in honor of the approval of the law on the Security Service of Ukraine in 1992.

SBU is a central state law enforcement agency with special significance.

• Protection of state sovereignty
• Fight against terrorism, corruption
• Help in strengthening the defense
• Promotion of economic growth
• Help in the political development of Ukraine
• Information control of citizens and much more
