International Heavy Metal Day

Among the legendary heavy metal groups, fans love the outstanding groups Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Manowar, Motorhead, Accept, which experienced their heyday in the 1980s.

The «Heavy Metal» festival was created on the initiative of British Iron Matthew Collins, an ardent fan of heavy music. The man tried to choose a date that he remembers well. So, the first holiday took place on 12.12.12 — on the 12th day of the 12th month of 2012. This started the tradition of the annual celebration of «Heavy Metal» day.
