Hammock day

Every year on July 22, an atypical, but such a pleasant holiday is celebrated – Hammock day.

The purpose of Hammock Day

Hammock Day is a celebration of the hammock as a symbol of rest. The day was created to encourage people to take a break from their busy lives and enjoy the simple pleasure of being in a hammock.

Hammocks have been used for centuries in various cultures around the world. In many southern countries (both thousands of years ago and today), a hammock serves as a sleeping place. Previously, sailors and soldiers on the ship also slept in hammocks. Hammocks were originally used exclusively as a place to sleep, but recently they have become popular as an object of relaxation. Today, hammocks are used for relaxing, reading and simply as a place to take a nap. These objects complement the interior of buildings, take with them on vacation, use for swinging, etc.

On hammock day, take time to enjoy the simple pleasure of being in a hammock. Let the hammock gently rock you on this summer day. Listen to the sound of the wind in the trees and enjoy the feeling of complete relaxation.

How nice to spend this day?

July 22 is a great chance to try such relaxation as lying in a hammock.
