Day of European cooperation
It is celebrated annually on September 21 Day of European cooperation, which is also called EU Day. Europe is a mixture of different cultures, languages, values and economies. That is why the inhabitants of Europe need to learn to understand each other in order to realize their maximum potential. For this, about 10 billion euros are allocated to the regions within the framework of the cooperation program. This money is spent on joint work on adaptation to climate change, social integration of migrants, etc. In practice, this happens with the help of various projects, in which different regions of Europe are involved. When efforts are combined, many perspectives open up. About 30 countries have already joined the celebration.
The holiday is supported by the European Parliament and the European Commission, the European Committee of the Regions.
