Every year on July 10, the world celebrates an unofficial but important environmental event – Day “Don’t step on a bee”.

Purpose of “Don’t Step on a Bee” Day

The purpose of such a day is to draw the attention of humanity to the important role of bees, to involve in the preservation of valuable insects, to emphasize the problem of bee extinction, and to raise public awareness of this.

In addition to the production of honey, wax, propolis, perga and royal jelly, worker bees pollinate plants, without which the existence of life on the planet is impossible.

• Earth has lost most of its bee species over the past hundred years. Today, the problem of the disappearance of these amazing insects is very acute. For example, in Europe, up to 80% of commercial plantations depend on the services of bees. No bees – no harvest.
