Animal protection week
Animal Protection Week is held annually during the first full week of October. The IVSA Committee (SCAW) – the founder of the holiday – helps those who want to organize events and broadcast them through social networks to promote this initiative.
The purpose of the holiday is to teach people to love animals and treat them with respect. Most animals benefit people. Therefore, by preserving them, a person contributes to the preservation of humanity itself.
Unfortunately, there are many species that are on the verge of extinction. Events like Animal Protection Week help draw attention to this.
You can celebrate the week as follows:
- In educational institutions, invite children to bring their pets with them, introduce them to others.
- Sign up for a regular payment in favor of an animal protection organization.
- Work as a volunteer at an animal shelter.
