The purpose of Crocodile Day
- Crocodile Day designed to draw the attention of humanity to the problem of the disappearance of crocodiles and alligators on the planet, the causes of which are increased urbanization, fishing, illegal hunting, pollution of habitats.
- Emphasis on the importance of the role of these animals in maintaining the natural balance and functioning of ecosystems.
- Raising people’s awareness about the possibility of moving crocodiles to protect animals.
Until June 17, both educational events for the local population and large-scale discussions on ways to solve the problem of species extinction are being organized.
