World Balloon Day
October 2 – World Balloon Day. The first rubber ball was invented in 1824 by scientist Michael Faraday during his experiments with hydrogen. He was the first to connect several rubber parts into a bag and pump it up with hydrogen. The first such “balls” became children’s toys, much later they began to be used for decoration and decoration at various events. Mass production of balloons began about 100 years later.
The first latex balloon was made in 1931 by Neily Tylotson. This became a breakthrough in this field and made it possible to manufacture products of various shapes, and this began the period of figured “air” compositions.
In order to have fun celebrating the holiday, it is not at all necessary, like the American Dahl and the Chinese Zhu Wei, to blow balloons with your nose or ear. It is better to try to weave figurines or make homemade products from balls – a vase for flowers, for example.
