World Anti-Profanity Day
February 3 is celebrated every year World Anti-Profanity Day. The holiday was started with the aim of fostering a culture of communication among children and reducing the use of profanity among adults, because, as is known, adults are an example for the younger generation.
Profanity exists in every language, people use it to verbally express aggression. Name interfere with competent and cultural speech, and also signal psychological problems. Negative words multiply negativity in our lives.
There is also another opinion: obscene language helps to release aggression quickly and safely for the people around us. Scientists say that the use of non-normative words speaks of the sincerity and emotionality of a person, and also indicates development. Research by scientists has shown that cursing helps to release emotions and even make a person more resistant to pain.
