Spam Awareness Week

Spam Awareness Week runs from October 1st to October 7th. During this period, it is called to take measures to reduce not only the number of paper letters of an advertising nature, but also electronic spam. To do this, during awareness week, remove your name from the list of the Direct Marketing Association, from credit cards and insurance letters, from lists of catalogs or contests.

The same goes for e-mail. People all over the world spend a lot of energy and time to clean their inbox of junk mail. The work of providers is slowed down by mass mailings.

It is interesting to know that:

  • According to statistics, spam accounts for more than 80% of incoming e-mail messages.
  • American publications emphasize that 60% of the current volume is accounted for by paper junk mail.
  • Every person receives about 11 junk mails every week.
  • Approximately 44% of paper sheets were never opened, ending up in the trash and ending up in landfills.
