Juliet’s birthday – On September 16, 1284, Juliet Capulet was born in the city of Verona (Italy). Yes, this is the same 13-year-old girl who committed suicide after the death of her lover.

Every year, grandiose performances and carnivals are organized in the city in honor of Juliet’s birthday. Everyone has the opportunity to wear a theater costume, and local authorities organize performances of Shakespeare’s plays.
