International Day of Climate Action
Since 2009, the entire progressive world has been celebrating the day of action to protect the climate. Its purpose is to draw the attention of public organizations and political leaders of states to the problems of climate change, which occur under the influence of human activity. Also, the founders of the holiday strive to convey the idea that protecting the environment is the duty of every person, regardless of their financial status, status, age, nationality, and other characteristics.
One of the main problems on the planet is increasing the level of greenhouse gases in the air. This provokes global warming, melting of glaciers at the poles, floods, fires and other natural disasters. Recently, significant climate change has been felt on all continents, which has a negative impact on the economic and social indicators of many countries. Therefore, one should not think that it is now possible to remain aloof from these processes.
