Day of electronic greetings

What day is it?

On November 29, the world celebrates the Day of electronic greetings. The holiday was introduced in honor of the various greeting cards that Internet users receive in the mail and on social networks in connection with personal, professional and national holidays. It is not known exactly when Electronic Greetings Day was introduced. It is believed to have happened in 1990.

The first online e-card resource was created by Judith Donath of the MIT Media Lab. The site was called The Electric Postcard. On the Day of electronic greetings, people send each other humorous or serious greetings. To mark this holiday, congratulate your friends or loved ones with another e-card. Also, the date reminds that you should behave tactfully in messengers, without spamming the chat with a bunch of animated postcards.
