World Immunity Day
Every year, March 1 is celebrated by the planet World Immunity Day. The event was initiated by the World Health Organization in 2002.
Immunity refers to protective mechanisms that contribute to the body’s fight against external factors (viruses, bacteria, chemicals, helminths, etc.); ability to resist external factors.
World Immunity Day created to draw the attention of humanity to the problem of immune diseases, to increase interest in strengthening one’s own immunity. The constant deterioration of the ecology of our planet raises the problem of immunity to a new, extremely important level.
- Everyone can strengthen the immune system by following a healthy lifestyle: a balanced diet, physical activity, quality sleep, hardening and, no less important, a healthy psychological state and a positive attitude.
