Aztec New Year
Every year on March 12 at dawn according to the Aztec calendar, the New Year is celebrated. The calendar has 365 days – 18 months of 20 days each and 5 empty, supposedly bad days (on these days, the Aztecs tried not to quarrel, not organize holidays and put off important matters for later).
Celebration Aztec New Year adheres to the Nahua nationality, to which the Aztecs (an ancient proto-American people) belonged and who live on the territory of Mexico.
The process of New Year’s meeting is as follows: fireworks must be set off, singing, playing the drum and lighting candles on a special tree.
