International Artist’s Day

On October 25, the world celebrates International Artist Day. The history of International Artist Day began in 2004. Famous Canadian artist Chris McClure, who paints canvases in the style of romantic realism, suggested celebrating this event. The holiday was started to emphasize the contribution of artists to the cultural development of society, to tell people that emotions and feelings can be conveyed with the help of drawings.

Painting is multifaceted. In art, various currents and directions of creativity, classic and innovative styles are combined. On this day, museums and galleries hold an open day and demonstrate fine art lessons. International Artist Day is an opportunity to discover the work of outstanding artists such as Salvador Dali, Claude Monet, Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso and other outstanding creators of paintings.
