A day to be heard
Every year on March 7, a non-standard holiday is celebrated – A day to be heard, which was founded by Shannon Cherry in 2004. The forerunner of the holiday was the Small Business Week, which appeared back in the 1960s.
Day to be heard aims to draw attention to small businesses. On March 7, every aspiring entrepreneur can share his idea or business plan with people, write the story of his own business, thereby attracting the interest of society, or simply take a step towards the business of his dreams, for example, by writing goals that will lead to the desired success.
- Small businesses need support, so the holiday is relevant and should be spread.
