Subsequently, in 1948, the first record was released, which allowed to enjoy not only high-quality, but also long-lasting sound. The record from the Columbia Records company allowed music lovers to listen to music for almost 30 minutes.

Vinyl VS CDs
The era of vinyl ended in the 1980s after the popularization of CDs. The size of the records, short duration, fragility of the material, low sound quality made these musical media popular only among true connoisseurs of analog old-fashioned sound. But lately, vinyl has started to return to its former positions again. In 2008, record sales increased from 1 million copies to almost double and continue to grow every year.
