For example, the Melinda and Bill Gates Foundation allocated $ 1.5 billion in 2014 as they really were going to support the prevention of preterm birth.

A year later Prematurity Day changed its name to the International one. And up to the present day in its celebration parental communities, physicians and all interested parents take part usually. The famous Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves is investing $ 800,000 into the research program, devoted to the relationship between the nutrition of pregnant women and premature birth.

In 2014, the Japan International Cooperation Agency, which supports the cooperation of various countries working in the field of maternity and childhood protection, said that over 4 years, from 2011 to 2014, it has been possible to save about 11 million children’s lives and 430 Thousand – maternal.

The action has become annual and constant either.
