What day is it?

Starting from July 3, 2011, representatives of the Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile forces celebrate their professional holiday, which was established by the order of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine dated February 10, 2011 – Day of anti-aircraft missile forces of the Air Force of Ukraine.

Holding the Day of Anti-Aircraft Missile Troops of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine promotes public awareness of the importance of powerful and effective protection in the country’s air defense system. Anti-aircraft missile forces are entrusted with an important mission – together with other military units, to constantly defend the airspace over Ukrainian cities, important strategic objects, from air and other enemy attacks.

The festive event encourages servicemen to conscientiously perform their work. The modern model of the anti-aircraft forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is a mobile, comprehensively equipped and trained force capable of working in any conditions.
