International Scrapbooking Industry Day

Every year on March 4, the world celebrates a non-standard, but interesting holiday – International Scrapbooking Industry Day.

What is scrapbooking? The term consists of two English words, which are translated as “cutting” and “book”. This is what they call a type of needlework art, the essence of which is the design of albums. Scrapbooking is not limited to photo albums – the objects of this hobby can be records, letters, newspaper clippings, tickets and any memorable trinkets.

For the first time, mankind became interested in creating commemorative albums back in 1598.

It is interesting that scrapbooking allows you to fantasize and does not limit a person to such a concept as a classic album – the look and shape depend only on the author. Yes, there are albums in the form of a house, an accordion, a box, digital albums, etc.
