International Sweatpants Day
Every year, January 21 is celebrated around the world International Sweatpants Day (International Sweatpants Day). It was first celebrated in 2009.
We must thank the French company Le Coq Sportif for the appearance of such a convenient element of the wardrobe. They were the first to start making special clothes for athletes since 1882. Training pants the company developed later, in the 1920s. Previously, they were created for the comfort of athletes. They were plain knit gray jersey pants. They stretched easily and did not restrict the athletes’ movements.
Sports pants conquered the world with convenience. They began to be worn not only in training and made of cotton, polyester, nylon, spandex, velvet, satin. Training pants have become part of fashion style. They are also recognized as the most comfortable clothes in which a person can relax.
People who prefer sports pantshave their own special lifestyle: sports, hip-hop, break dancing, etc.
