Every year on November 19, the world celebrates International Women’s Entrepreneurship Day. The holiday was launched in 2014 and was celebrated for the first time at the UN headquarters in New York. Ukraine joined such an initiative in 2016 thanks to a public organization called the International Embassy of Women Entrepreneurs. Currently, 144 countries and millions of interested women around the world participate in the celebration.

The main goal of the holiday is to increase the opportunities of businesswomen and support their activities. The initiative is a social movement that is not limited to just one day, the movement aims to inspire the female gender to create their own business.

On November 19, women entrepreneurs gather together to share their experiences, advice and discuss important business issues. The International Day of Women’s Entrepreneurship has the mission of spreading business activity among the female population by involving professionals in this field to provide free assistance.
