Every year on the first Wednesday of February, the world celebrates an interesting and rather young holiday – World Read Aloud Day. This event was initiated by the international educational project “LitWorld” in 2010.

The purpose of this event is to encourage humanity, and most of all, the young generation, to read books. In addition, the holiday inspires communication and discussion of what has been read with family and friends.

For the celebration, it is enough to choose an interesting book and find listeners. A challenge dedicated to the event is taking place in social networks.
