Secret Friend Day

January 11 is celebrated Secret Friend Day – the day of a person who listens and reliably keeps your secrets. The history of the creation of the holiday is still unknown, but it is a good reason to mutually support a friend and emphasize the influence of true friends on our psychological health and well-being.

Keeping secrets is bad for your health. Secrecy negatively affects psychological health and brain, digestive system and emotional stability, causes increased blood pressure and back pain, as well as decreased libido. Studies have shown that people who keep a lot of secrets are more likely to suffer from depression, insecurity and an inferiority complex. In some sense, secret friends are the prevention of these diseases.

Secrets are as old as the world, we keep them from the age of 5 to protect ourselves, our loved ones, or to support a certain image or legend. On this day, greet your secret friends who save you from emotional baggage, understand you and stay in your heart forever.
