Every year on the third Sunday of March, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Housing and Communal Services Workers. In 2022, the date of the celebration falls on March 20. The professional event was started by Leonid Kravchuk on February 15, 1994.

The purpose of the holiday is to increase the initiative of workers and to thank them for their hard and painstaking daily work.

Utilities ensures high-quality living conditions of the population and supplies resources. Domestic service provides sanitary and hygienic needs, performs necessary repair work, etc.
