World Writer’s Day

Every year on March 3, the whole world celebrates a professional holiday – Writer’s Day. The event was founded by the PEN club (international association of writers) in 1986. The holiday came to Ukraine in 2012 thanks to the initiative of the Ukrainian writer Larisa Nisoi.

World Writer’s Day editors, journalists, historians and other masters of the word can also consider it their professional day. It is on March 3 that all authors have the opportunity to gather for the presentation of creative works, discussion of literary novelties and awarding of the best ones for their writing activity.
