European Paper Bag Day

Since 2018, October 18 is the European Paper Bag Day. This initiative was launched through the Paper Bag platform to raise public awareness of efficient and environmentally friendly packaging that helps fight environmental pollution and climate change.

More and more often, consumers choose an ecologically safe way of life, because in the modern world we have to face globalization, climate change, and a lack of raw materials. Rejecting plastic bags is the first step to a responsible lifestyle.

• According to statistics, 160,000 plastic bags are used and thrown away every second on the globe, and a car can travel approximately 10 meters on the amount of oil needed to make 1 bag.
