All-Ukrainian Day of Culture Workers and Folk Art Lovers

On November 9 every year, Ukraine celebrates the All-Ukrainian Day of Culture Workers and Folk Art Lovers. The holiday was initiated by President Leonid Kuchma, issuing a decree on March 21, 2000. Then March 23 was chosen as the date of the celebration, but in 2013 the day of the event was changed to November 9.

Ukraine, despite being under the oppression of other states, was able to preserve its identity. Ukrainian culture has deep and rich roots, immersing in the atmosphere of the people is a pleasure. Guides into the history and cultural life of Ukraine are lovers of folk art and cultural workers who preserve the atmosphere and spirit of the unconquered Ukrainian people. November 9 is a great opportunity to thank art workers and attend events dedicated to this day.
