International Self Acceptance Day

International Self-Love Day ( International Natural Day) is considered a day when people worry about their own feelings and accept themselves as they really are, with all the flaws and imperfections. On the eve of Valentine’s Day, February 13, many people need to feel love for themselves, because not everyone has a significant other to celebrate on February 14.

International Natural Day founder Sana Givani developed the concept of self-acceptance in 2011 when she experienced unwanted changes in her appearance. In adolescence, she developed alopecia, that is, complete loss of hair from the head. The girl was bullied and ridiculed by her peers, so Sana’s self-esteem dropped significantly, adding to her insecurity. The founder saved herself from the unfortunate ending – she worked on her own moral views in order to later realize the value of her life, which in no way depends on appearance.
