All companies that manufacture gadgets and software or provide mobile communication and Internet services have their own technical support service or outsource it.
Technical support specialists work at three levels
- On the first line, they communicate personally with customers, collect the maximum amount of information about the existing problem for its further solution. If an easy question arises, the experts solve it immediately. In addition to professional technical knowledge, representatives of the first line must have communication skills with customers, patience and tact.
- Second-line specialists solve complex but typical technical issues, for which they need special knowledge and experience.
- Those who are able to solve non-standard technical issues that arise quite rarely work on the third line.
The purpose of the Technical Support Worker Day
The purpose of the holiday is to draw attention to the hard work of technical support workers. They always remain in the shadows, and their work is taken for granted, which does not require thanks.
